Social Media
There are many definitions of what social media is but one of the best definitions I found is from "The Social Media Bible - Tactics, Tools & Strategies for Business Success," by Lon Safko and David K. Brake. According to the authors, Social media "refers to activities, practices, and behaviors among communities of people who gather online to share information, knowledge and opinions using conversational media."
How this can benefit you as a small business is being able to utilize social media tools, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to spread your information throughout the Internet like a wild fire. We will keep you current on how these tools and new ones are changing the way in which businesses are marketing their services and products. The major difference now is that you have these same tools in your arsenal and most of them are FREE! It's just a matter of learning how to effectively manage them. Will you only use Facebook? Should you tweet? Should you throw YouTube into the mix? Should you do all three? We will help you to sift through the massive amount of information that is available to help you make the best marketing decisions for your business.
